Cumberland School, a Newham-based secondary school, selected Citrix technology from Axess Systems Ltd to deliver educational tools and applications to pupils and staff - whether working from home, at school or from other remote connections, such as the local library. This project will help familiarise the school’s 1,250 pupils and staff with using a virtual learning environment.

London Metropolitan University were looking to replace existing thin client terminals in their open
access area within the Library. They called upon Axess Systems to assist
and advise them, resulting in Axess providing Neoware Itona terminals.

Emergency Services
South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, a Metropolitan Fire Brigade, undertook a thorough performance review that identified issues with their existing thin client portfolio. Working with Axess Systems, the organisation noted that, of their previous thin clients, VXL terminals were the only units to have performed satisfactorily. Read how Axess Systems assisted in the adoption of 50 VXL Itona TC4341 terminals and how the objectives of the project were met.

NCH
Europe, a leading manufacturer of maintenance repair and supply products, has
been using Terminal Services to consolidate its data and services to one
data centre in the UK, but it was not providing the best end-user
experience, nor proving cost effective to support. Axess Systems
helped to provide NCH with 2X ApplicationServer Enterprise Version which allowed NCH to leverage its existing Terminal Services platform
whilst providing a rich end-user experience. The corporation used 2X
to publish applications based in the US to user desktops, bringing
greater manageability and performance and increasing perceived
performance by a factor of 50.
