Sales / Account Manager
You will be already working in IT sales, but you will be looking for your next challenge, and will understand the opportunities available by working for a company that specialises in Virtualisation.
You will be working as an integral part of one of our sales teams. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and ensuring that these opportunities are closed. You will achieve this by utilising the considerable skills of our in-house virtualisation consultants, and account managers, thereby delivering the most appropriate solution to your target customers.
In order to be a success at this role, you will need to be a natural organiser, and have strong administration skills. You will have an eye for detail, be a team player, and be able to present your views in a constructive and rationale manner.
You will be able to demonstrate that you have an excellent record of building strong customer relationships and converting these relationships into sales.
As a highly motivated sales professional, you will be able to develop a pipeline of opportunities through sales calls. Additionally, you will be able to maximise the opportunities generated through our marketing campaigns and events.
Most importantly, you must be a first class 'closer' of opportunities.
You will be willing to invest in yourself (we will work with you to develop and implement a Personal Development Plan, including a specific training programme) to enable you to build a comprehensive knowledge of the core virtualisation software, which includes Citrix and VMware. This will enable you to sell both IT consultancy services, and products surrounding:
- Desktop Virtualisation
- Application Virtualisation
- Server Virtualisation
- Storage Virtualisation
- Cloud Services
What we will provide for you
Your package will be centred on the results that you achieve. This will not be limited to the sales that your team generates, but also other key company targets, as we see this role crucial in the overall development of the company.
We will provide you with a training plan, which will develop your sales skills along side your technical knowledge.

You will be a motivated and highly organised individual who wants to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
You will have completed a degree in Computing, Information Technology or equivalent.
Ideally you will have a knowledge of Network topology, Windows Server, and associated software.
You will have good communication skills, and be able to communicate with people that have differing levels of IT knowledge.
You will be keen to learn by both formal training and from our highly skilled engineers.
Knowledge of VMware, Citrix and other virtualisation software would be very advantageous.
