…or anything else for that matter. On Saturday 8th October Luke Maycock along with another 1526 runners, took part in the Nottingham ‘Survival of the fittest’ race.
The race is know as the ‘wet one’ and rightly so. 10 Km of cold water, mud and obstacles designed to test the endurance of the runners.
I’m glad to say that Luke not only survived but he came in 73rd place from a field of 1527 runners. Luke’s finish time was one hour, nine minutes and 54 seconds. That puts him in the top 5%.
So, well done Luke. Give that man a medal.
And they did.
